Floyd "Mac" Wiltshire, 91, of Clinton, IL, formerly of Plainview, IL, went to see his Lord and Saviour Friday, February 21, 2025, at Liberty Village in Clinton, IL.

Floyd was born December 14, 1933, in Gibsonia, IL, a son of Bernard and Edna Gregory Wiltshire. Floyd graduated from Shipman High School with the class of 1951.

He married Shirley Wheeler on December 19th. 1954, at the Shipman Methodist Church, Shipman IL.

Floyd, Mac to his many friends and Uncle Mac to his extended family, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon returning he engaged in farming with his father-in-law and doing carpentry work on the side. He enjoyed being with his family, fishing, bow hunting, bowling, playing cards, and taking trips with his wife and friends. He was a big STL Cardinals fan and upon his retirement from farming developed a passion for the game of golf, which continued for many years, giving him great pleasure and many fun memories. He had a good, long life and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Floyd was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Wiltshire, mother, Edna Wiltshire McLaughlin, brother, Lloyd Wiltshire, brother, Jerry McLaughlin, and brother, David Earl McLaughlin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, 9:00 to 11:00 am at Cross Church, 1030 West Main St., Carlinville, IL.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Cross Church, Carlinville.

There will be no graveside service.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Shirley Wiltshire of Clinton, IL, son, Wayne (Kathy) Wiltshire of Gillespie, IL, son, Bernard (Angela) Wiltshire of Heyworth, IL, son, Tim (Victoria) Wiltshire of Aurora, IL, grandchildren, Jared and Carley Wiltshire, sister, Verna Robinson of Shipman, IL, and brother, Donnie McLaughlin of Brighton, IL. There are numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Memorials may be made to Shipman United Methodist Church.
