Thomas F. Beichler, Sr.



Thomas F. Beichler, Sr., 72, of Carlinville, died Friday, October 31, 2008 at Carlinville Rehab Center.

He was born Friday, July 31, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland, the Son of the late Wesley R. Beichler and the late Mary Katherine Elizabeth Joy. He was a 1952 graduate of Patterson High in Baltimore, Maryland.

Thomas served his country during the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Air Force. When he came to Carlinville, he worked for Prairie Farms Dairy, retiring in 1998 as a paymaster. He also farmed in the Carlinville area. Thomas belonged to Mt. Nebo Masonic Lodge #76 in Carlinville. He loved to fish and deer hunt, as well as pitching horseshoes.

Survivors: Sons: Thomas F. Beichler, Jr. (Belinda G.)of Carlinville, Norman C. Beichler (Nikki)of Hillsboro, MO, Greg S. Beichler (Becky) and Bill D. Beichler (Tracy) both of Carlinville, Daughter, Amy Mart (Jeremy) of Carlinville, 10 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Granddaughter, Sister, Joy Maygers of Gettysburg,PA, Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Information



Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, November 3 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville

Services: 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Pastor James Friend will officiate.

Burial: Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Carlinville, where military rites will be accorded. Donations Information
