Louise M. Bollinger, 87 of Girard, passed away Thursday morning, November 10, 2016, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Louise was born August 12, 1929, in Detroit, MI, a daughter of Michael and Mary (Palusinski) Gerula.
Louise graduated from Lamphire High School in Springfield, IL.
She married Doyle D. Bollinger, October 12, 1929 in Springfield, IL and he passed away August 6, 1989. Louise retired form Federated Funeral Directors of America in Springfield in 1977 with over 20 years of service. She enjoyed reading, fishing and crocheting.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Darrel Bollinger and sister Patricia White.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, 9:30-10:30am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Girard, IL.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 am, Tuesday,November 15, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. James Palakudy officiating.
Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
Louise is survived her daughter, Linda Porter of Springfield, IL, son, Carey (Carolyn) Bollinger of Girard, IL, daughter, Brenda Bollinger of Seattle, WA, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers, John (Ernestine) Gerula and Michael (Betty) Gerula both of Springfield, IL.
Memorials may be made to Donor's Choice.
Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Girard is in charge of arrangements.
