Stanley H. Walden 84, of Girard, died Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Sunday, March 8, 1925 in Girard, IL, the Son of the late Carl and Alma ( Hamilton) Walden. He married Anna Williamson in Auburn, IL on September 3, 1947. Stanley was a grain and dairy farmer in the Girard area his lifetime. He was a member of New Hope Methodist Church, Virden American Legion and Girard Alumni Association. Survivors: Wife, Anna Walden of Girard, IL, Son, David Walden of Girard, IL, Daughter, Nancy Lockwood (Mike) of Girard , IL, Son, Lynn Walden of Girard, IL, Daughter, Dixie Hampton (Ed) of Girard, IL, Daughter, Lorie Walden of Girard , IL, 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, 1 Step Great Grandchildren, Twin Brother, Sterling Walden (Doris) of Girard, IL, Brothers, Donald & Eldon Walden of Girard, IL, Sister, Ina Traylor of Virden, IL. Funeral Information Visitation: 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, April 16th at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL. Services: 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 17, 2009 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery. Donations Information Memorials may be made to the Girard Fire & Rescue Squad.
